HS-450 High-Speed Label Slitting & Rewinding Machine

The HS-450 is RK's high-speed label slitting and rewinding machine with a 4-motor drive. It runs at up to 300 m/min and is built in 320, 450, 550 and 650 mm widths.

320 mm, 450 mm, 550 mm and 650 mm. Choose the width that covers the widest web you slit.

Paper, polyester and blister foil.

Four motors drive the machine: a servo (Schneider / Inovance) on the nip roll and slitting, a brake motor on the unwind, and an ABB motor with its own VFD on each of the two rewind shafts.

Automatically. A load cell measures the unwind tension and the brake motor on the unwind holds it.

The unwind takes a roll up to Ø 600 mm on a 3" air shaft with an ultrasonic web guide. The rewind builds rolls up to Ø 600 mm on an up and down rewinding system, in forward or reverse direction.

Air shafts in 1", 1.5" and 3", and friction shafts in 3" and 6".

Both rotary and shear blade slitting.

A PLC with a 7" HMI touch screen counts labels and metres and stops the machine automatically at the label or metre count set by the operator.

The HS-320 Pro is a 320 mm machine with a mechanical speed of 200 m/min and rewinding to Ø 450 mm. The HS-450 is built in 320 to 650 mm widths, runs at up to 300 m/min with a 4-motor drive, holds tension on a load cell and rewinds to Ø 600 mm.
