GRF 150 2+1 Rotary Garment Tape Label Printing Machine (Taffeta & Satin)

The GRF 150 2+1 is a rotary flexo printing machine designed for taffeta and satin garment tape. It carries three printing units: two print the front of the tape and one prints the back, so a two colour brand label with single colour care text on the reverse is produced in a single pass.

Ceramic anilox rollers meter the ink. An IR dryer unit with digital temperature control dries the print. The print width is up to 150 mm and the print length from 105 mm to 305 mm, with three cylinder sets supplied as per your requirement. The machine runs on a 2 HP single phase AC variable speed motor drive, with total power consumption of 4 HP single phase, and measures 8 ft long, 3.5 ft wide and 6 ft high.

Two Colours Front, One Colour Back in One Pass

The tape is printed on both sides in a single run. A two colour logo on the front and black care text on the back come off the machine together, already in line with each other.

Designed Around Taffeta and Satin Tape

Fabric tape needs gentle, even tension and controlled heat. The GRF 150 2+1's web path and IR drying are arranged for taffeta and satin, so the tape does not stretch, crease or scorch.

Ceramic Anilox Rollers

Ceramic anilox rollers hold a fixed ink volume and resist wear. Print density stays the same across a long roll.

IR Dryer With Digital Temperature Control

The IR dryer temperature is set on a digital controller. Once the right setting for a tape and ink is found, it is repeated exactly on every job.

150 mm Print Width and 105 to 305 mm Print Length

Up to 150 mm of print width allows several narrow tapes to be printed side by side. Print length is set by the cylinder, with three sets supplied as per your requirement to cover lengths from 105 mm to 305 mm.

Electronic Meter Counter With Auto Stop

The counter measures the printed length and stops the machine at the set figure, so rolls are delivered at the ordered length without manual watching.

Single Phase, 4 HP Power

The 2 HP single phase AC variable speed motor and 4 HP total power consumption mean the machine runs on the ordinary single phase supply found in most small factories.

The roll of taffeta or satin tape is mounted on the unwinding side and threaded through the two front printing units. In each unit the ceramic anilox roller inks the plate cylinder, which prints its colour onto the tape. After the second front colour the tape is turned over and the single back unit prints the reverse side.

The printed tape passes through the IR dryer unit and is wound on the rewinding side. The electronic meter counter counts the metres and stops the machine at the set length. A job change involves swapping plates and, if the label length changes, the cylinder set. The whole machine is operated by one person and needs a floor space of about 8 ft by 3.5 ft.
