GRF 150/4+2 Rotary Garment Tape Label Printing Machine (Taffeta & Satin)

The GRF 150/4+2 is a rotary flexo printing machine built specifically for taffeta and satin garment tape. It has six printing units in total: four for the front of the tape and two for the back. Ceramic anilox rollers meter the ink, and the print is dried by an IR dryer unit with a digital temperature control unit before rewinding.

The machine prints up to 150 mm wide, with a print length from 105 mm to 305 mm depending on the cylinder set. A 3 HP single phase AC variable speed motor drives it, an electronic meter counter stops the machine automatically at the set length, and total power consumption is 5 HP single phase. The machine measures 8 ft long, 3.5 ft wide and 6 ft high.

Four Colours Front, Two Colours Back

A brand logo in full colour on the front and black or two colour care text on the back are printed in one pass. There is no second run to print the reverse side and no risk of the two sides going out of line.

Built for Taffeta and Satin

Garment tape is soft, stretchy and different in every way from paper. The machine's web path, tension and drying are set for taffeta and satin so the print stays sharp and the tape stays flat.

Ceramic Anilox Rollers

Ceramic anilox rollers carry a consistent ink film to the plate. They wear slowly and hold their volume, so print density stays even over long runs.

IR Dryer With Digital Temperature Control

The IR dryer unit has a digital temperature control unit. The operator sets the right heat for the tape rather than adjusting by feel.

150 mm Print Width, 105 to 305 mm Print Length

The maximum print width of 150 mm covers single wide labels or several narrow tapes side by side. Print length ranges from 105 mm to 305 mm with three cylinder sets supplied as per your requirement.

Electronic Meter Counter With Auto Stop

The counter measures the printed length and stops the machine when the set quantity is reached, so every roll is delivered at the ordered length.

Single Phase Power

The 3 HP single phase AC variable speed motor drive means the machine runs on a standard single phase supply, which suits smaller label units and garment factories.

The roll of taffeta or satin tape is loaded on the unwinding side and threaded through the printing units. In each front unit the ceramic anilox roller transfers ink to the plate cylinder, which prints one colour onto the tape. After the fourth front colour the tape is turned and the two back units print the reverse side in the same way. The printed tape then passes through the IR dryer unit, where the digital temperature control unit holds the set heat.

The dried, two-side printed tape is wound on the rewinding side. The electronic meter counter tracks the length and stops the machine automatically when the set quantity is reached. Changing a job means changing plates, and if the print length changes, the cylinder set. With three cylinder sets supplied as per your requirement, most label lengths between 105 mm and 305 mm are covered.
